Motions to Athy Area Committee of KCC – Cllr’s Wall and Mahon

Councillor Wall That the council investigate and provide a permanent solution to the flooding problems at Plunketstown, Castledermot.

Councillor Wall That the council provide traffic calming measures at Ballyroe National School in the interest of public safety.

Councillor Mahon That the council repair the road and gullies at Leinster Street in Athy in the interest of public safety.

Councillor Mahon That the council confirm the up to date position in relation to local signs on the new N78 road in the interest of local communities.

Councillor Mahon That the council confirm the reasons why there are up to 12 lights not working following the work on the M9 at Prumpelstown and Ballyburn, Castledermot.

Councillor Mahon Can the council confirm the up to date position in relation to the flooding at Castlemitchell south Athy and a possible permanent solution?

Councillor Mahon Can the council confirm the up to date position in relation to the turning on of the public lights at the Education Campus, Kilberry Road, Athy?

Councillor Wall Can the council confirm the procedure for the erection of new public lights and the current position with the repair of same?

Councillor Wall Can the council confirm their plans to repair footpaths and roads at the Liffey Heights Housing Estate in Ballymore Eustace?

Councillor Wall That the council continue to work with the Ballybracken Cemetery Committee (Kildangan ) in an effort to provide an extension to the graveyard for the benefit of the community.

Councillor Mahon Can the council confirm the position regarding drainage and remedial works on the Lerr and Greese rivers ?

Councillor Wall Can the council investigate the on going water supply issues at the Kilkenny Road/Roundhills locality of Athy with the view to providing a small scheme to improve supply?
