That the council give an update on traffic management at Carlow Road, Athy.

Report:  Kildare County Council, in conjunction with Athy Town Council, hopes to carry out works on the Carlow road in the current year. The works will consist of installation of new footpaths, replacement of older footpaths and surfacing of the road pavement. Because the road is so wide at the location of Coneyboro housing estate and due to the number of houses in this estate, roads design has designed a right turning lane at this location. This should accommodate right turning traffic into this estate.
