Monasterevin Youth Club, Car park in Kildangan, Cloney and Clarey Bridge

That the council continue to work with the Monasterevin Youth Alliance in their bid to establish a youth space for the youth of Monasterevin given the tremendous efforts of the youth club and their leaders to obtain such a premises.
Report: The council have been actively supporting the groups within the Monasterevin Community over the last number of years by refurbishing the Methodist church and providing funding for the refurbishment of the CYMS Hall. The council will endeavour to continue to support the community where possible

That the council update the area committee on the progress with a car park for the village of Kildangan to assist the school and church and investigate a footpath to link the GAA club to the village.
Report: A report will be circulated at meeting

That the council commemorate the 750th anniversary of the Irish Parliament sitting in Castledermot by way of a council meeting or special meeting of the council.
Report: From time to time meetings of Kildare County Council have been held outside of the Council Chamber. This is normally done at the initiation of the Mayor of the day, with the agreement of the council. A decision to hold a council meeting in Castledermot, as outlined in the motion, can be resolved by full council.

Can the council upgrade the ramps on the Milltown Road out of Athy at Cardeton and investigate the flooding at this point?
Report: The area engineer has discussed this with the town engineer. At the present time Athy Town Council are carrying out an appraisal of the traffic calming measures on this road.

Can the council confirm the up-to-date position with the repair of Clarey Bridge, Nurney further to previous motion?
Report: A report will be circulated at the meeting.

Can the council confirm the up-to-date position with possible safety measures at Cloney Bridge on the Athy to Monasterevin road at Kilberry?
Report: No work was carried out at this location due to the fact that it is a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). This bridge is included with a number of bridges to be surveyed by specialist consultants with an expertise in SAC’s
