Cllr Mark Wall nominated to contest the Industrial and Commercial Seanad Panel

Cllr Mark Wall has been nominated by the Labour Party to contest the Industrial and Commercial panel in the forthcoming Seanad elections. Cllr Wall secured the nomination following a meeting of the Labour party executive committee and central council in Liberty Hall, in Dublin on Saturday last 29th February.

Cllr Wall commented “ I am honoured to receive the nomination to contest the Industrial and Commercial panel. Since the general election I’ve spoken to a large number of family, friends and constituents who have encouraged me to put my name forward for selection.

During the general election campaign I discussed being a national voice for the many local issues raised by voters. The Seanad can allow me to raise those issues at a national level and represents an opportunity now for me to give that national voice to those who voted for me.

I look forward to discussing the issues that Cllrs, T.D’S and former Senators have over the next couple of weeks as I canvass their vote for this panel.
